This is where I was baptised as an LDS person. Hahaha It was sort of like any kind of other baptism except the welcoming part. Even at my baptism I felt folks were checking me out suspiciously, created an uncomfortable feeling in my tummy. On a serious note, during my introduction to different members......... the president......President P Willmott, walked right by me and looked the other way...... WTH..... It was only AFTER some other guy told him I was standing there and I was a new convert did he acknowledge my presence. Never have I got such a strong impression of condescendingness from someone as I did from president P Willmott. A quick, limp handshake revealed he wasn't too interested in meeting me so I just backed up a little and went to chat with the missionary guys. My baptism was quick and we ate a little bit afterwards. I went to church the next sunday, but quickly stopped going to the LDS church..... Sometimes, i still have some random awkward visits from LDS missionaries, and sometimes they call me out of the blue and we have quick awkward conversations. I have never felt so unwelcome at a church as I did here. And the way some of the members treated me. Brothers Stanley and Brother Douthat, and Brother Weisnewski. All of them I got strong condescending impressions from, and also the president P Willmott. Sometimes I got a condecensding impression from the Bishop of the church i was going to.... his name was Bishop Peterson. I will likely never attend this church again.... and for good reason.... It would take another da%n good reason for them to have me come again...
