  Because I am attending or passing funeral info on to friends and family who are considering attending a funeral at this location, I do not think the prior comment is appropriate to keep posted on the website. The funeral home has already been chosen and it sets a negative atmosphere even before friends and family get there. It may dissuade people from attending a service where the family may truly need their support. I would hope that since this comment was posted (over a year ago) that the funeral home will have taken corrective action. Hopefully the poster made his observations personally known the the management. I reserve judgement, not having been there myself. If someone has a more recent opinion, it would be nice to hear it.

  I just recently lost my mother and I had nothing but great experiences with Lotz. They were more affordable than my other options and everyone was kind to me and treated me like part of the family. I was fortunate enough to have all of the costs pre-arranged and just had to work out the details as far as what I wanted everything to look like. I thought the chapel was nice and the staff there were kind.

  It still saddens me to think of the way our mother's funeral arrangements were handled. Hard hearted, money hungry, and unprofessional are the nicest things I can say about them.

  Approximately one month ago unfortunately I had a friend pass away and the funeral was at aLotz in Salem. I was appauled at how shabby the building and surrounding grounds were. It appears as if NOTHING has been done since the first day the doors opened, so so sad. Save your money and go elsewhere
